The A1 Foundation course is designed for complete beginners who want a genuine grounding in Russian. Lessons move step by step from the alphabet and sound changes in spoken speech through to sentence structure, verb tenses and the Russian case system, always paired with practical, real-world use.
You will learn to greet people formally and informally, describe location and position, talk about time, dates and schedules, handle shopping and money, express possession, use descriptive adjectives, and make requests politely. The course combines recorded lessons with live classes and regular work assessments so your progress stays on track.
